  • I prefer the Twenty’s Unit. It works twice as good.  :)

travis1981 -  I've had mixed results with my TENS unit.  It would help me before my three ACDFs but after surgery, I got not relief.  I have no explanation.  My guess is before surgery, since I had impinged nerve roots and/or impinged spinal cord, it offset the nerve pain.  After surgery, the TENS unit created additional pain for me.

I got on to using a TENS unit before my first ACDF in 2007, because where I was getting physical therapy, the use of a TENS unit was part of the PT session.  The contact pads were attached to my upper back, not my neck.  If would recommend trying a unit before you buy one, if at all possible.

  • @ L4_L5 hahahah very funny.

anyways...it does not do much for me---but I am also scared of it since it says it may speed up your heart rhythm..the deep tissue massage does help...

i dont think they recommend for the neck,,.,just saying, when i went to PT they did it on my upper back(about shoulder height) and lower back...

  • Very much so. I use it on my lower back and my arm. It does a great job.
