Kyphosis Surgery.

I'm 21, from Northern Ireland and am hopefully going for surgery in March.

My curve is quite severe (in the high 60s) Just a few questions, if anyone out there can help me.

- How much taller, if any, will I be roughly after the surgery?

- How bad on a scale 1-10 is the pain of recovery?

- How much core rotation will I have afterwards?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi, i cant answer your question but hope you don't mind if I follow.

I am having surgery on 7th February. I can feedback after that! But I am alot older than you (46) and my curve is 95 degrees, so not sure how relevant my experience will be

I was measured today at preop and i am 164cm, so i know that i have LOST 6cm. It will be interesting to see if I regain any
