On the right side facing forward? I know it sounds asinine to ask. I'm just confused because does an MRI mean facing forward? For example if you have a left sided protrusion, is the facing towards the right or left side facing forward?
on an MRI a left sided protrusion should be on the left side of the patient by convention, so on YOUR left. so left central should be in the midline (central) but to the patient's left, which viewed from forward (like the doctor is looking at you) would be the right side of the image. but it's on your left side....i hope i didn't confuse you more....it's like if you are looking at your friend-their left side is on your right....if they are looking at you (facing forward). to be sure, call your doctor-just in case they use a different convention.....they'll know exactly where it is, but this is usually how those are stated....
Ok. Thank you
