Here's an odd one - my left foot no longer sweats - anyone else have something similar?

Had an ALIF with bone graft from left hip and PLIF the next day, 2 level fusion.  A week after surgery my left leg, ankle & foot were swollen.  Went to the ER and tests were negative for blood clot. Went home and elevated the left leg and iced the left hip more and it did go away after a couple of days.  Ever since then I've noticed that my left foot doesn't sweat and the skin is very dry.  I noticed the dryness right after surgery and have been constantly putting lotion on.  It wasn't until later that I realized that it wasn't sweating when I wear shoes, socks or slippers.  It's a really odd feeling.  Anyone else experience anything like this?  I still have a large numb area on my left hip and I'm hoping that once this resolves that maybe the foot will go back to normal too.

It could have something to do with the bone graft. I'll be curious to know, like you said, if the numbness in your hip goes away that will too. It has got to be coming from one of the nerves that the surgeon, moved, touched or cut.
