I am 6 month post op microdiscectomy and have been doing great until Monday. I pulled on my boot and felt a twinge and just felt locked up/ tight in my low back.

The only way to really know is to get another MRI, I have had similar situations in the past, I usually give it a couple of weeks before seeing the doctor, I have been lucky that it was usually a pulled muscle, but once we have had surgery it is easy to get really concerned with any back pain.
