Clenching muscles

I haven't posted here in a while as things have been going ok.  However, for quite some time now, the muscles in the bottom of my butt and in my groin clench involuntarily all the time. The moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep.  They don't spasm or knot up. They just clench, like I'm holding back a bowel movement. They do this all by themselves, but I am able to relax them when they become noticeable. Then they immediately start to clench once relaxed.  On a bad day, this will also spread to my core muscles so I cannot relax at all.  Pain management doctor and PCP have no ideas.  Anybody else experience this?

While you are waiting on other members to reply, go to the search box at the top right of the page, key in clenching muscles. Scroll down past the ads and there are articles for you to read. These were interesting because it was everything from stress to anxiety.

Take care and keep us posted.
