Learn how a lumbar disc herniates and

See how a disc degenerates and how it can cause pain and other symptoms
New to this. Is it possible to have lower back vertebrae that have arthritis scraped or cut back if they are impinging on a nerve and causing pain? Would this be something to talk to a rheumatologist about or a surgeon?
I have quite a bit of arthritis in my spine also, during surgeries in the past the surgeon has scraped it, it does relieve a lot of pain, but for me it has always came back
Take care and keep us posted
I would talk to my rheumatologist first and see if this would be something he would do. But is it the vertebrae or the arthritis that is impinging on the nerve? Have you had any diagnostic test done?
Take care and hope to hear from you soonSandra
