Panic from pain leaving your body?

I had recently been in chronic pain for 4 months straight, neck pain, face pain/headaches, shoulder pain that went down into my hands, I tried a recommendation from a counselor seeing a doctor who gave me a neuromodulator mouth guard to sleep with, the pain began to leave my body within a few days but as it did, I noticed that it triggered sever anxiety, walking around not feeling in pain, even made me spacey, is it possible for your body to experience anxiety when healing from the chronic pain that it has become use to?

Welcome taperter to the Veritas Health Forum

Being in chronic pain, I also deal with anxiety. At any time I am not in pain, I am always wondering when it will hit again. I try to relax and enjoy the little time I have but it is still in the back of my mind.
