HI, Am new to this today, and was wondering if anyone could give me some advace, Im having surgery tomorrow and I want to know what exactly to expect after the op, will I be able to swallow very well, talk, get up and around, how soon can I start doing things for myself agin?????? so many questions are in my head and im really worried, when i get home i have two children to look after and even though friends have offered to come round and help, how much help will i need, if anyone can tell me what its like after the op i would be so grateful. thanks

  • I haven't had surgery yet but looking forward to the day.

    I just wanted to let you know that I hope you have a successful surgery and recovery. Take good care of yourself and don't over do it. Take all the help that is offered to you. As mothers we think and are expected to be super human, in this case you have to take it easy to get better.
