what do you all do to help keep your TENS unit leads as fresh as possible for as long as possible? I know not to wear lotion under them. once they lose the stickiness is there anything you can do to make them stick? I have a box of 12 sets I want to make last as long as possible. I hope that isn't supposed to last me a year. anyway, thanks for any input.

  • I would slightly, slightly moisten them and place them back on the non-sticky paper they peel off from or put back on wax paper. The oil in our skin is what keeps them from remaining sticky. You might find some cheap pads on ebay or something. Good luck.

  • Alcohol on my neck where I'm going to place the leads before placing them to get any oils off of my skin.Put them back onto the plastic that they come on,and when they start to lose some hold add a tiny bit of water (like on your finger and put on there) to get a few more uses out of it.

I use gylcerin soap,so no matter how clean I am I think the alcohol swabs help a lot. Also,I only put them on & remove them once a day normally, leaving them on for long periods of time.Once in a while it gets on my nerves but instead of taking it off I just turn it off.

  • I read on one website they use wet papertowels and bandages to keep it on. I have Dr. Ho massager but I haven't tried that yet just using the same pads. Charry
