Hooray - New MRIs approved

Hello Everyone,

My last spinal MRIs were taken back in Mar '07. For several reasons it seemed time to have new MRIs - (1) to see the current condition of my spine, (2) conern IF a disc is totally gone that perhaps natural fusion may be starting, and (3) my potential spinal surgeon No. 9 wants me to have new MRIs.

I saw my PCP doc this afternoon. He agreed the above reasons were valid, and without any hesitation wrote a prescription for new MRIs. Went to the MRI office and sheduled the MRIs for this coming Wednesday.

A bit of concern how things will be, but better to know now rather than too late in my opinion.

Just thought I'd share.

  • There's nothing like having cooperative docs. When you really know there is something wrong in there and no one will take a serious look at it, things can be so frustrating. I'm glad they'll do some diagnostics for you.
