I also had a surgery 8 years ago, I have another one scheduled in one week,some of the symptoms have returned but now it is hard to concentrate,write,and not to mention deal with the pain that no drugs can help with,from what I have found out,the best that the doctors can hope for is to relieve some of the pain and slow down the progress of the Syrinx,of which the doctors say it is the largest they have seen, have any of you tried some forms of self hypnosis? it does help me a lot depending on where the pain is coming from.
