Prior to surgery I could had NEVER slept in a chair sitting straightup, but since the surgery that is most comfortable to me.

At first I could not lay flat at all without horrid pain, for the first 2.5 months I slept sitting straightup in a chair (Could not even sleep in a recliner).

At 3 months I started being able to sleep for a few hours in the bed but had to go to the chair in the middle of the night due to back pain flaring up (dull ache which worsend the longer I laid in bed).

At 4 months now I can sleep in a bed for 3-4 hours before going to the chair. I don't even lay flat always on my sides. If I work I manage to sleep 6 hours (after working a 13-14 hour night shift). But still end up in the dang chair.

Did anyone else have this problem?
