I ended up having a total discectemy and a posterior insturmented fusion on my L4-L5 on the 24th of november. I am up and about feeling great and pain free for the most part. I still have some post op pain but it's fading quick. The surgery was a complete success! So there are successful outcomes to lumbar surgery.

  • I am so glad to read that you have been doing soo well! Its always nice to hear of positive stories! I hope you remember that you have alot of healing to do and dont overdo! It is hard at Christmas not to.Remember no BLT and keep smiling and walking. Good Luck! Love, Robin
  • I keep reminding myself that I can't over do it. If I spend a lot of time on my feet, once I lay down I can tell! But I do a lot of resting, and still make sure that I get up and live my life. I am so happy with the results of the surgery. I knew the second I woke up from the anesthesia that my sciatic and lower back pain were gone! What a great feeling!!
