  • My Pm and NS are placing a PNS(percantanious nerve selection)...It sets just under the skin, thus percantanious means under the skin, directly over L4/ L5/S1, and yes this WILL cover my lower back, and durring my scs trial it spread out about an area of 4-5" directly over my lamnectomny site, and YES it did help my lower back pain. So I was pretty lucky to be doing my scs at this time, the other lead going up my spine did cover my legs and hips, and evan up to my waist...kinda weird like standing in water up to your waist. So ask your PM about PNS. Rose
