I have had 2 spine surgeries and need two more. I now have spondylolisthesis on my lumbar from what my pain management Dr said and he was getting in touch with my neuro surgeon which he is having me do another MRI in the next few weeks. I don't have ins but I do go through Hill Burton for low income people for my health care. My opana is around $200 for 60 5mg pills. What would be a cheaper and just as good as a pain pill. I signed up for SS and medicare but nothing yet in a years time.

  • I've never taken it, but isn't methadone supposed to be cheap(as compared to oxycontin?)

On another note, if you haven't heard back from SS in a year, maybe you ought to contact them? If approved, I THINK(not sure) you are eligible for medicare 18 months after you apply.
  • I should have explained better about SS I was turned down then I appealed then turned down a 2nd time then my lawyer requested a hearing with the judge and it will is going on the third month waiting on a hearing.
