Hi fellow Spine Health members,

We have a member, Dan (Pccstudent) who is feeling low after getting a serious infection and is in a rehab place to deal with it.

I hope that we can send him messages of encouragement to cheer him up.

You can find his story on the November Surgery Buddies list. (This is long, so I suggest you start towards the end.)

Together we can make a cyber visit to his bedside! :-)

  • And hoping today is a better one for you! I have read some posts, and boy are you a strong and positive guy! With those things going for you, today will be better! Know we, your spiney family, are rooting for you! I sincerely look forward to reading more about your story and recovery...you are an inspiration Daniel!

  • I hope that today will be a little better for you. :-)
Hopefully there will be a kind and compassionate member of the staff there who will listen and be helpful to you and your room mate.

Take care, keep smiling and keep hopeful. :-)

  • Hi Dan. I have been following your "adventure" over the last little while on the November post, and you certainly have been having some major challenges, but I must say you come across as having the strength and optimism to overcome them in the end. Just want to say my thoughts are with you and I am sure that you will be ok in the long run, particularly now that they know exactly what the issue and infection is.
  • You are stronger than ou give yourself credit for. Don't be afraid to lean on others. I'm pulling for you!
    - Pangea
    ACDF C4-5, C5-6 on 12/3/12
    Bone growth stimulator 4 hrs/day
Follow up 1/21/12 - growing bone, still in pain though. Working desk job but still not cleared for volunteer EMS :-(
  • Dan: all the best mate.

Been following your disaster. Not good. But that's negative, so apologies. You've been quite positive considering.

I certainly hope you get a lucky break from here on.

    Cheers.

Hey, that 'chance' person who came along and is helping you is just the person that I was hoping for. :-)
I am so pleased for you Dan.

Keep being a patient patient and keep healing.
