Since 2011 I have had 4 epidurals. My last one was last Monday. Usually I get relief in 5 days but I am in more pain now. I have used hot and cold compresses, unable to sleep, sit, etc. I am so sore from this I feel discomfort down my right thigh and arm. Everything is on the right side. I saw my pain management last Friday, the same that gave epidural, he gave me Tylenol with codeine and muscle relaxer...not working either. I wonder if acupuncture would relief me.

I had never had any problems with my back until 2011. It just flared up one night in my sleep. My husband had to assist me in and out of bed then. Had MRI which so pinched nerve at T10-T11.

Help, please!

  • Thoracic pain is renouned to be difficult to cope with.
I am sorry that your latest injection hasn't helped and has made things even worse.

I suggest that you contact your Pain Management doctor and let them know that the meds they have given you are not giving enough relief. Hopefully they will either give you some other medication or have another idea to help you.

I hope that you will feel more comfortable soon.
