Prescription Treatment Options and Alternatives

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this site and have read a lot of posts. As can be seen in my profile I have 6 different conditions all affecting my lower back/limbs. They range from mild to chronic.

Throughout the years I have been put on so many different medications that honestly I have lost track of which ones. But as far as Drug Class are concerned...NSAIDs, Narcotic/Non Narcotic analgesics, steroids, etc. Currently my Physiatrist has me on Parafon Forte, Neurontin and Tramadol. My neurologists on Cymbalta and Prednisone (this one for life to manage the myopathy). None of which are doing much to make much difference.

There are days that I can slowly move around, some when I'm a little more stable and the majority where I struggle to get out of bed. The pain has escalated beyond 5 out of 10.

I see several specialists to treat these conditions but not one has been able to prescribe that can alleviate my pain and discomfort at least to a level of improving my quality of life.

Has anyone been on some "cocktail" of meds that have helped??? Would like to speak to my doctors about other options.

Thanks for reading.
Wish all of you well!!!
