Good morning. Newby DeeAnn here.

Wow. There's truly some very helpful information here and I am happy to have found this forum. For the past 6 months I have felt alone with my CERVICAL DDD. I am relieved that there are others whom can empathize with me.
This is my 2nd go around with multilevel herniated disc in my neck. This time I experienced severe spasms in my shoulders, arms and neck. I have been told that operating would not be an option for me because of there being multiple herniations. Of course I have arthritis, but, Thank God there's no nerve damage.
Tomorrow I will see a Pain Specialist to determine my next step. Previously I had the nerve block that didn't work and then 2 epidurals that gave me relief for approximately a month. After the pain returned I began seeing a Chiropractor but one whom didn't adjust me much. Also, I began feeling light headed while driving and realized that I had to recline in order to drive. I do not drive far these days.
I ice my neck and stretch all day. I have to have soft cushions against my back and support my neck.
I have pain meds too. I prefer the Chiropractor and Acupuncture over drugs yet because I am under workers comp I must follow their protocol.

Has anyone else had problems with sitting upright to drive?
Thank you.
