Low back, backside of ankle pain while laying down or sitting

I am 39 yr old female. I am having severe low back pain and ankle pain which raid images to knee and hip for the last 4 months. I got the x ray and MRI done. Couple of doctors said it is disc prolapse and needs surgery and complete bed rest. I am currently taking physio therapy. My problem is little weird. I have severe pain when I am sleeping. Especially when I get up after laying down for couple of hrs it pains a lot. It reduces after I walk and I can sit on the floor as well. But I can not sit on chair or in the car for long, it start paining. Please suggest what should I do.
