Amazing pain relief from Sciatica After many drugs

jaydeejjaydee Posts: 1
I've had a sciatica episode for about ten days and the pain was unimaginable. I was given hyromorphone, naproxen, advil, flexior, and what not...sure the hydromorphone helped the pain but it made me nauseous and didn't feel right. Then I found an old bottle of 222 pills (aspirin+codeine) in my drawer, and that has been thoroughly amazing. I am almost like new. I take every six hours or so 2 pills and have zero pain and I feel completely normal. I'm in canada so we can buy those over the counter, which in the USA you can't. So perhaps you can get someone to bring you a bottle. I am beside myself with happiness.

should you take medications, prescription and/or OTC without discussing this first with your doctor. There are so many medications that taken with such and such can cause a problem. Who ever thought that taking a specific medication with grapefruit juice can be very harmful!

Bottom line, no matter what any says, whatever magical cure.. Never take medications without the approval of your doctor!

jaydee , who created this thread may have done very well with the mixture. I am happy that he found good relief..
But always remember, What is one's man treasure, can be another mans poison (Sure, paraphrased a little)

I resorted to acetaminophen + codeine early on in my painful journey and discovered that even just taking it for nights got me addicted to some degree - baaddd migraine when I went off of it cold turkey. I would advise finding out what is causing that pain instead of just throwing painkillers at it.
