Hi there my name is Brad. I am a 28 year old male from Arizona. I am new to this forum and new to this entire process so I have lots of questions. I have suffered from what was thought and diagnosed to be “migraines ” back in 2006 when I was in a car wreck which caused a severe concussion with a brain bleed (forgot the medical term sorry) and I have had headaches ever since so naturally my doc said my “migraines ” were from that and over the years I've tried almost every migraine medication out there with no success and everything gradually getting worse and worse and I noticed my neck was hurting worse and worse and the headaches and neck pain head a direct link so I got my family doc to send me to a migraine specialist about 6 months ago and she did an MRI on my neck because surprisingly I had never had one done on my neck after the wreck. The MRI results were shocking to say the least. The MRI showed 4 bulging discs at C3, C4, C5 and C6, with 2 bulging into the spinal cord and 2 bulging outwards, a bone spur at C2 going outwards, spinal stenosis and foraminal stenosis in the same areas and a few other things. Everything makes sense after finding that out. I was referred to a pain management doctor who says cervical epidurals are the first treatment and go from there. Does anybody else have these problems? If so what treatments did you and and what worked? I am afraid of surgery, but I'm also tired of being in pain 24/7. Just any advice would greatly be appreciated!
