  • Unfortunately no I was told everything should be back to normal after the nerve decompression.
  • Hi Bowman

I know your pain I just had my 3rd surgery Jan. 6, 2016 (L4/L5 spinal fusion). I still have pain in my lower back and numbness in my left foot. The pain is worst now then before the surgery. My doctor told me that my surgery was a success and that I'll be back to normal in 3 months.

I dont see how I' could go back to work in a month with the pain that I'm in simply by walking. I'm a technician and my work is very strenuous. I must be able to lift 60lbs, climb poles, and go into attics and crawl spaces.

I think ink a lots of doctors tell us that everything will be fine just so we don't worry. However we need to know the truth about our health. We trust their opions.
