I feel right at home here

You'll find me in the sciatica/radiculopathy sub.

I'm 2+ years post microdiscectomy with no relief.

Epidurals keep me sane as far as the sciatic specific pain.

The foot pain and calf cramping are non-responsive to any of the nerve type meds. The heel is entirely numb, and the pain varies from non-existant to excruciating, more excruciating than not though.

I will be trying an electric block later this year.

Hi godsend1.... You came to the right place, a whole lot of healing going on here, in one way or another.

Have you had any recent images taken of your spine? From reading posts on the forum here, it sounds like many people have problems with a previous disc, needing more surgery. I know of one person personally though that didn't need anymore work done after a  microdiscectomy. Doesn't sound like you were that fortunate though, unless you have something going on with something else.

Hope you get some relief, and some answers soon.
