    Hi Polly,
I'm no doctor but had the same surgery on the 16th. Sounds normal but check with your doctor for piece of mind.
  • Thanks, I don't have a follow up for another 6 weeks
I may ring the Drs nurse on Friday it getting worse.
Nice to hear other people's stories

    Polly

It is common to have some swelling that presses on the nerves and causes the symptoms to return.  With that said, anytime that you have real concerns, you should call your Dr's office and ask.

    Echoing Bruce...

When I had my surgery I experienced similar pain to what you descibed.  I was told by my doctor that this is perfectly normal.  It does eventually go away.  When your doctor says that you are ready, PT really helped me "stretch" some of this pain away.

I am not a doctor, so please check with yours if you are concerned.
