New & Herniated Disk C7-T1

I am 61 and have osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and herniated disk (C7-T1).

I've had 2 epidurals that have not worked. I was frustrated in the beginning unable to pain relief but now I'm on the right amount and can handle it with a lot of ice. I see the surgeon today for a new options.

A month ago the pain got so bad I moved out of my house and in with a friend to take care of me. She is wonderful keeping me packed in ice and bringing me anything I need.  I am improving. I got to PT 2x a week and exercise daily. I'm still staying with her because I have 2 teenage boys (my tow youngest) at home. If I was there I would be tempted to pick up after them and re injure myself.

I'm drinking the following for inflammation and giving my body every chance to heal (avoiding surgery):
  • 2x a day 1 cup bone broth
  • 2x a day Golden Milk (numeric powder, almond milk coconut oil)
  • 2x a day MSM (ugh, but I get it down)
  • 2x a day Apple Cinder Vinegar drink
These exercises:
  • PT 2x week
  • 20 min day stretching exercises
  • 20 min 2x day treadmill
I  have 9 children and concerned friends. I got tired of trying to explain so I made a graphic with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and herniated disk all explained.
I have an image link if allowed I will post.
