multifidus Muscle pain

I have lower left back pain, stiffnes on my left side of the back to the touch, my left side of my neck gets stiff, pain sitting down on left lower left back, pain bending forward on lower left back, it's like a burning sensation, MRI done with no pinched nerves, no bone spurs, no anything, can it be MULTIFIDUS MUSCLE PAIN? Help me !!!! It's been two years!!!!

    Did the search, upper right on page help you with any understanding or relating to your symptoms?

    Your doctor is really best to assess, guide and or reassure you.

    I know the frustration of the seemingly foreverness to find source of pain ..and then the trial and try again of effective treatments to lessen that pain.

    Curious if you have seen a Pain Management doctor/spine specialist to help you?
    PM Doctor best thing for me! He also did many tests on me that at that time I never heard mentioned before.
    In addition to the MRI ordered by my primary doctor.

    While waiting for learning of source of my pain, he immediately began medication and treatments to lessen my pain.

  • I think it is better to visit hospital and before massage you can use pain reduce pills...there are lots of them... buprenorphine for example in lower doses, it is used to control acute to moderate chronic pain.
