My Pain is in the upper spine, I live in south florida and I suffer daily from Chronic back pain

My name is Jennifer and I live in south Florida, I have been dealing with chronic back pain for about a year or more and I give it to those who deal with the pain as I do, it is so hard to suffer from this and not get help from anyone, I am on medicaid which is the first problem and they see me, I say they meaning Dr's as a pill head and that is quite the contrary, I am a single mother of 4 and an interior/exterior painter, which is most of the problem my job. although who will help with my bills? I do go to work everyday although if i don't have anything for pain I cannot do my job..... What does one do? I can't get out of bed but need to for the sake of my children. I need help, it is getting worse with the depression that comes with the pain. Please someone help me!!!!

If its your peers calling you names? Its time to find new peers.
As for having to use medication as it was ment as a tool to help you in your day?
    It is what it is.

You are providing and trying your best, no one has any room to talk.

Is there another doctor you can see?
What are the back issues, what caused them and what have you been able to access as far as care?

You came to the right place for support! I have 3 children but I have a husband who is mostly supportive of my pain and neck issues. :) It must be hard for you! I know you have to do what you have to do, but chronic pain makes everything harder. Have you thought about seeing a Psychiatrist or therapist so you have someone to talk to? Depression and chronic pain definitely go hand in hand. Hang in there!
